More than a decade ago, Polaris turned to BIG to help bring a highly personalized new-owner experience to life for Indian Motorcycle. What began as a single strategic kitting project evolved into a long-term partnership spanning branded merchandise, fulfillment, strategic kitting, customer engagement, and e-commerce solutions across the Polaris portfolio.

The Challenge

As Indian Motorcycle reintroduced and rebuilt its brand presence, the company wanted to create a memorable ownership experience that would differentiate it from competitors like Harley-Davidson. The goal was not simply to welcome new owners, but to create excitement, build loyalty, and turn customers into passionate advocates for the brand.

The Solution

BIG designed and executed a highly personalized owner welcome program that celebrated each customer’s unique purchase and strengthened their connection to the brand. Every kit featured premium packaging, a personalized welcome message, membership materials, a Certificate of Ownership customized with the owner’s name and VIN, and a custom replica gas tank clock modeled from an actual Indian Motorcycle gas tank CAD file and color matched to the owner’s motorcycle.

To support the program at scale, BIG developed automated workflows that ensured every kit was accurately personalized, assembled, and delivered quickly regardless of dealership location.
