Nationwide Custom Apparel Rollout for Valspar
The Challenge
- Massive Scale: Coordinating the creation and delivery of 352,000 t-shirts.
- Brand Representation: Moving beyond generic stock garments and creating a custom apparel piece that better reflected the quality and identity of the Valspar brand. BIG partnered with Valspar to select the fabric, blend, fit, and overall garment construction, while incorporating custom private labeling to further elevate the brand.
- Logistical Complexity: Assembling and distributing thousands of custom kits containing unique apparel size runs and supporting print materials, requiring a high degree of accuracy to ensure each Lowe’s location received the correct contents and quantities.
The Solution
BIG partnered with Valspar to develop and execute a fully custom apparel program from concept through final delivery. Working closely with the client, our team sourced the ideal fabric, blend, fit, and garment construction while incorporating custom private labeling to create a premium branded apparel piece.
Once production was complete, BIG assembled 3,520 custom kits containing apparel and supporting print materials, then coordinated distribution to more than 1,700 Lowe’s locations nationwide.
